12:01: The Aftermath (EBOOK)

This book was so good that I immediately went to the website and bought the aftermath even though it's just like filling in the gaps, but that's how much I wanted to continue. I really want to see her at the dinner and shit and see how what went down once she was officially with Midnight. I'm reading it as I am reviewing this book. I love me some Midnight, our lover boy, and he love Tyme real bad. Tyme you deserve everything and I'm glad you got it with him. Also shout out to Nene(that's also my auntie's name)cause she funny as fuck she reminded me of like Shar from the Dillinger series or Elle from the danger series. I like her a lot she's a good friend too.
Overall I give this book five out of five stars. Looking forward to what u make in the future.

Wow! From start to finish 12:01 & The Aftermath captured my attention in a way that I haven’t had in months! Ms. Bella Jay you definitely have garnered a new fan out of me!!!! The feels were definitely FEELING! But what I loved most about your writing is the ability to make the readers reality fall away and become significantly immersed in within the story with Midnight and Tyme! My favorite moment from the story would be the thoughtfulness Midnight exuded on behalf of Tyme’s late Sister! The fact that he not only remembered Serenity’s birthday, but he also put action around it to ensure that Tyme took care of herself and her friend on that day! This act of service blew me away! Lord, I know you’re listening 🤣. I enjoyed everything about Midnight character! If standing on business was a person… Lord!! & the play on names was chefs kiss 💋! I will definitely be tapping into more of your catalogue!

Love how you let us see how that year went with Tyme abs Midnight. Love the connection that was always there with them.

If you loved 12:01, do yourself a favor and read 12:01: The Aftermath before reading the epilogue. It feels like the missing piece that makes the entire story even more satisfying. I was already obsessed with the original book, but The Aftermath gave me the extra closure I didn’t know I needed. Bella Jay absolutely delivered with this one. A perfect companion to an already amazing story!

The way this story has exceed expectations for me. Well worth the hype. Plot? Thick. Characters? Entertaining. Me? Gagged! Now I gotta run through the catalog. *switches off*

I enjoyed this book. I want more from this author. This was sexy, messy, and well written. I liked the way it ended as well. KARMA is a bitch and she got hers. Smut with actual characters not just people fucking. The text messages were realistic i love her best friend too. I felt like I was reading real conversations.

This book has peaked my curiosity. The way Bella describes the inward battle of the two characters kept me very interested. I had to come see the aftermath. lol

I love this messy little story between Tyme and Midnight.

I was hooked from chapter 1. To the end. Who up in here has never went bat ish krazee when that One, That one, jack stuff up for the rest of them? I’m pretty sure that someone somewhere right now is showing the fudge out over something stupid! I could rant for hours but, back to this here……. Loved every moment of their journey and experience with their own live out loud doubts and frustrations. I appreciate how they really allowed themselves to just fudging be. I’m sure we all have had a Malicai or 5 in our lifetime, with a Bad azzz brother and tried not to cop a peek, but for him to hold all the keys to the locked box and still be on the other side of the door when YOU walk through, still willing to bring you out of your misery and His, was perfectly written. I’m sure our midnight, sunshine and moon is right here somewhere behind the horizon or even right in front of us…. We just have to be willing to recognize it within ourselves without crashing into the trees first. Sad but true. We sometimes have to endure the pain to appreciate and accept the lesson. Black men are women take for granted the importance of the things that we Think we want, staying complacent and settling for less than, instead of recognizing Our own Needs and continuing to remain in our defaults, our flaws and failures. It was reassuring to see Midnight recognize Tymes’ true Needs, from the very beginning! 12:01 is the MFS!!!!!!! (Mofoish) group text had me on the floor. Everyone should experience the PARTY at least 3 times in their lives. I J S!!!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜. I can’t wait to dive into your work and catalog. I’m definitely sharing. An update on the Draytons will be fun. 🤩 I’m glad Malicai found some peace tho!
